The call has gone out, young and old, player and supporter. Your club is calling…

This weekend is probably the biggest match of the season for Knockainey GAA. A win or draw would guarantee them Senior Status for 2018. A win also gives the club options for an assault on a ‘ B ‘ semi final.

A loss on Sunday would almost guarantee a relegation final for Knockainey GAA with their neighbours Bruff GAA.

Much like the Credit Union, the local GAA club is at the beating heart of a community. Knockainey GAA is a small but extremely proud club with a strong history and passionate supporters. Like many rural clubs it has seen a lot of changes over the years with reduced resources and players, but the pull of the local GAA club remains strong, and young and old will join as one voice on Sunday, lifting up their warriors in black.

Being a rural club certainly has its challenges but the good days always out-weigh the bad….we hope Sunday will be a good day!
